SUMMARY:Birmingham Dinner with Femi Obisesan
DESCRIPTION:Guest Speaker :  Femi Obisesan \nFemi it a spiritual leadership at the Ark Church\, Mere Green. \nFemi Obisesan was born into a Catholic family\, with a dream of becoming a priest\, a dream his father was excited about\, until he eventually left the seminary.  He went on to university\, and he encountered Jesus through his elder sister\, who shared her experience with Christ and encouraged him to join a Christian fellowship. The love and fellowship he experienced drew him closer to the Lord. \n“My Christian journey has had its highs and lows\, but through it all\, God has remained faithful. I have experienced testimonies in areas such as health\, evangelism\, academics and family\, while also learning valuable lessons through struggles in my faith. By God’s grace\, many of those struggles have become sources of strength. Today\, I have a passion for raising godly youths\, men and families\, and for encouraging people to look beyond culture and build their lives on the Word of God.”\n\nBOOKING INFORMATION\n£15.00 per person \nHot drinks can be ordered separately.\n[Vegetarian food can be ordered in advance]. \nToby Carvery on the Birmingham Road\, north of Sutton\, in Shenstone Woodend\, WS14 0PA\, as usual\, (not Shenstone). \nContacts \nPeter on 0121 378 1707\nEmail:  bhamfgb@blueyonder.co.uk\nor John on 0121 351 3288\nEmail: j.h.walker@btinternet.com

SUMMARY:Rotherham Dinner with Andrew Frost
DESCRIPTION:Join us for dinner with our speaker from Hull Andrew Frost.\nAndrew has gone through many difficulties in my life\, but always seems to come with a smile on his face. Something that Andrew has become known for\, but he is always inspired by his favourite verse: \n“Do not grieve\, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” \nNehemiah 8:10 \nAndrew was born in London and moved to Hull when he was about 5 years old. Growing up and spending most of his life in Hull. He was brought up going to Sunday school and church from an early age\, right through until his late teens. Over the years he made several commitments to God\, but often he didn’t stick to the commitment he’d made. That was until 1990 when things changed and he I made a real commitment to God\, changing his life and his future. \nLater\, as his relationship with God grew\, God called him into the Evangelical Ministry. Since then Andrew has continued to keep stepping out in faith. Throughout his life he’s faced many difficulties along the way. As life brought him many challenges\, it also brought many answers to prayer. \nCome and hear Andrew share his real life story. \nDinner will be held at Toby Carvery Astwood Trading Estate\, Sycamore Road\, Eastwood Trading Estate\, Rotherham\, S65 1EN \n \n
