Hull Dinner with Derrick Wilks

VICE COP TO VICAR
Join us at the Hull Dinner with guest speaker Derrick Wilks at the Beverley Golf Club.
Derrick was a Vice Cop who went to a Reinhard Bonnke meeting, and God stepped in to Derrick’s life. His story takes him through the darkest corridors of crime, trauma and personal anguish. To a profound transformation that was guided by faith, resilience and compassion. As a Detective Constable, Derrick was exposed to disturbing images and harrowing cases left scars it was hard to get over.

The pressures of the job took it’s toll on his mental health, which pushed him to a breakdown. Amidst the turmoil of his life, a glimmer of hope emerged after an unexpected journey of faith. Through setbacks and prayers Derrick found solace and strength, his faith guided him through the darkest of storms.
Derrick’s real life story is a moving story of transformation and finding light in the darkness.

Derrick is the author of the book “Vice Cop to Vicar” which chronicles some exciting police stories. It also goes into his healing, which trust him into full time ministry. His book can be purchased on Amazon or Vice Cop To Vicar: Free Delivery when you spend £15 at Eden.co.uk.
