Trevor’s story

Listen to the real life story of Trevor Bendrien, a businessman and musician from West Yorkshire. There was a pivotal moment for Trevor on his honeymoon, this led him to seek out a spiritual path. After a chance encounter in a church, Trevor’s life began to transform. Including a life saving encounter during an explosion.

Trevor’s father was a prisoner of war, and worked hard to become a successful business owner despite all the odds stacked against him. Trevor worked in the family business as contract furniture manufactures, after leaving school and later became the MD. The company completed many interior  design projects for prestigious clients. Due to a mistake during a bank takeover the business was lost.

He had to start again from scratch, and with an old friend they worked their way up to building an International company. They had offices across China, India and the Middle East. This also was lost because of a China forgery, leaving Trevor facing a prison sentence in China.

Trevor and his family have many testimonials to the goodness of God. They have travelled extensively throughout Eastern Europe, Brazil, Russia and Africa, as musicians and sharing the word of God.

Trevor always acknowledges that life, even as a Christian, is not without challenges, God is interested in every aspect of a person’s life and is a friend who will provide comfort and help during hard times.

Helen Bendrien will also be joining us and together they will entertain us with Christmas music as well other well-known songs.

Cost of dinner is £25 and is payable on the night, please provide your menu choice when you book. The cost of the dinner is 50% subsidised by FGB North Kent.
