BEST WAY TO START YOUR WEEKEND!
Join us for the MenUnited breakfast in the Wansdyke Building at the Saltford Hall Complex.

Loui Efstathiou will be the guest speaker before meeting God he was miserable, empty, rejected, bruised and suffering. The wounds of what he felt were abandonment.
Loui had grown up in church and always had sung the hymns. He had even felt God touch him, heard sermon after sermon and clapped his hands. But didn’t know God, Loui didn’t have a relationship with Jesus.
During his teens Loui faded away from church life. He stubbornly rebelled against all things “God” and even concluded that he didn’t even exist. Loui recalls wanting to end his life many times. He lived a reckless life of materialism and binge drinking, amongst other things leading to self-rejection, fear and hopelessness. He spent much time in the music industry and working in nightclubs. Meeting many acquaintances who often didn’t live in to their 30’s due to overdoses.
As the days, months, years passed God kept drawing him in and putting Christians in his path, where Loui worked and where he went. He would go home and think about it all. Then one day someone looked him bang in the eyes, and said “you just need to surrender”. They were right, stop running, just surrender.
Standing there with open arms that was where Loui finally “Gave up” at that moment, Jesus stopped by. He had believed the Gospel! It wasn’t easy! But now he is a new creation!
