31 Miles in October for Pancreatic Cancer

Earlier this year our dear friend and FGB member Keith Mews, passed away of Pancreatic Cancer. Keith had been the an active member for the FGB for many years. He is especially missed by the Isle of Wight Chapter, where he was the President for many years.

In his memory Tony Curry will be walking 31 Miles in October, to help transform the future of pancreatic cancer. Currently half of the people diagnosed with the disease die within 3 months of diagnosis.

Tony meet Keith when he became a Christian in 1985, and their friendship grew from there. Keith was the best man at Tony’s wedding over 34 years ago and was a dear friend.  They attended the FGB Isle of Wight Chapter meeting together, until Tony left island. But they remained good friends often going to watch football together.

Following his passing Tony wanted to raise awareness of Pancreatic Cancer. Hopefully to help others in the future, in memory of his dear brother Keith.

We send our prayers and support to Tony, and Keith’s family.
