Devastating Loss and Developing a deeper Trust and Faith
In 1987, Peter married Marlene who was a widow 10 1/2 years older. She had 5 boys and had a farm with 35,000 chickens. They had a good marriage serving God together.
Between May and June 2019 Peter experienced unimaginable loss. First of all, he lost his oldest stepson who had become an alcoholic. Then seven weeks later he lost his wife from a brain haemorrhage. His business went into administration on the same day and lost his income.
Where some might have turned away from God during this terrible time, Peter chose to trust God more anchored in. Clinging to Proverbs 3 vv 5-6 “ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding……and He will direct your paths”
Peter found that through the darkest valley, his faith didn’t weaken but became stronger
Surrounded by Christian friends and family, prayer strengthened him through the grief. His financial needs were met in miraculous ways. Hope was restored when everything seemed lost. He stood on the word –
“ And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Jesus Christ “
Unexpectedly, one day he came home to find an envelope from ther tax man. Not wanting money but with a tax refund of £41000! He wasn’t expecting proving God is faithful even in the storm.
Miracles That Point to Jesus
Peter’s ministry is marked by powerful testimonies of healing and transformation, always giving glory to Jesus.
Throughout the UK and Internationally, Peter has witnessed all kinds of miracles. Including the healing of terminal brain tumours, cancer , paralysis reversed and arthritis instantly go, a young man’s teeth straighten, severe injuries supernaturally restored. As well as the moving stories that saw children’s lives transformed – a 4 years older old boy walking for the first time and a child speaking after being unable to speak.
One particularly remarkable testimony which was televised on Channel Four Wales. It involves a man who fell over 30 feet onto concrete. He was placed in an induced coma, and was not expected to survive. The day before they were due to switch off the machine, after prayer in intensive care he came back to life. Doctors and nurses later confirmed that there was no medical explanation for his recovery.
These stories are not sensationalism but evidence that Jesus Christ is alive and active today.
From Religion to Relationship
Peter’s journey began in church. He attended church for 22 years without any relationship with God. But he had an encounter with God and experienced the reality of knowing Jesus. When a man shared his testimony while at agricultural college.
He describes a transformation of freedom from lifelong fear and anxiety by the power of the Holy Spirit . Three years after becoming a Christian he experienced the power of the Holy Spirit. Being filled with boldness after renouncing barriers of unforgiveness and involvement in the occult. Growing from a painfully shy young man into a confident communicator
At one meeting 17 people realised that being a churchgoer doesn’t make you a Christian, and gave their lives to Jesus
Today, Peter speaks nationally and internationally, having ministered across Europe, Africa seeing audiences of thousands in Tanzania and several hundreds in Uganda.
A Life of Restoration
After the loss of his first wife, Peter experienced an unexpected blessing, meeting and marrying Angie. Marrying when you are older brings its challenges but God helps us to understand each other.
We have ministered together in UK and overseas with compassion, unity and joy.
Angie experienced a miracle when God gave her a new knee, after a lot of pain from cycle accidents.
They minister together showing love, compassion and bold faith. Being involved in local outreach Alpha and overseas missions.
Confidence With his Career and Calling
Peter’s transformation from shy and insecure helped him in his professional life as well . As he worked as an agriculturalist, fine art chartered surveyor and auctioneer he appeared on many TV antiques programmes including Flogit and Bargain Hunt and radio programmes.
Whilst in his spiritual life he’s been involved in leadership with Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship for many years, as well as decades of church ministry and international mission work
