Chairman’s Desk – A Story to Share

This was sent to me by one of our members in the North East.
Just heard a story to share…
There’s a family in Middlesbrough of all girls whose dad was unwell and walking on sticks. They took him to see a FGB Regional President at an event for healing. They prayed, although nothing seemed to happen until the man’s ten year old granddaughter came forward. She prayed and the man was completely healed.
Afterwards they asked the girl what happened to which she replied “I heard Jesus say to pray for Grandad”
On the back of that little girls’ prayer there were five generations of that family who become Christian’s and now attend church. Many other people’s families have become Christians too. One of her aunties is an Anglican vicar and runs a church in a council estate. Her cousin runs a project with boys on the estate. Lots of that started with the prayer and obedience of that little girl hearing Jesus and praying for her Grandad.

It’s always great to hear a good report. (I say report because I think so many times we say bible stories, when they are reports of facts not fiction). Still, that’s my hobby horse explained.
This leads me onto the Conference coming up in May. I have been asked why we are not having a well-known keynote speaker.
When we met as directors, we discussed this and we concluded that now you can watch some of the best teachers in the world at the click of a mouse, but are they? AI is confusing all types of things. So, we decided to focus on understanding AI. Making sure we can hear God clearly when he speaks to us. To give discernment when the world/AI gives us information, fact, or fiction.
As we see from the report above, one little girl heard Jesus, and it changed the direction of a whole family. There is nothing guaranteed to stop someone dead in their tracks than to receive an accurate word of knowledge about their situation.
So, please book and come to the conference with an open mind and a desire to hear God more clearly. If you already hear God accurately, move in words of knowledge and prophecy then please come and help the rest of us.
We want to reach all people with the good news. Many don’t want to listen, but an accurate word can change that in a second.
