MEET THE AUTHOR

Come and meet Robert Stevenson author of the best-selling book.

“Out of Darkness and into the Love of the Father’s Heart – The story of My Daughter Sarah”

Robert has recently moved back to Basingstoke after his 30 year plus years in China and Hong Kong. During the event Robert will share his experience of how his life was dramatically changed, when he went to visit an orphanage in Mainland China and met “Sarah”.

“Sarah had been born blind. Unable to cope with her disability, her natural parents abandoned her on the streets of Jinan, Shandong Province in the People’s Republic of China in 1991.  She was found by a passer-by and sent to an orphanage.  Life for little Sarah seemed hopeless, as one disabled child among so many forgotten children.  Her only emotions were loneliness, rejection and hopelessness. The event is on the 8th October from 12 – 1pm and will take place in the “Elm” Room, Ground Floor at BizSpace, Belvedere House, Basing View, Basingstoke RG21 4HG.

If those joining the event could register, so that I can have a rough idea of numbers. Afterwards, Lunch can be taken at the nearby hotel just opposite at the Village Hotel, Basing View, Basingstoke RG21 4EQ.
