Chairman’s Desk – Christmas Reflections and Looking Ahead

Christmas Reflections

As we come to the close of another year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that God has done among us across FGB UK & Ireland. This past year has been a good one, and we have seen God moving in powerful and encouraging ways — in our chapters, at our dinners, and in the lives of men across the nation.

Alongside this, 2025 has also been a year of significant change within our organisation. Change is never without its challenges, but it is often through these seasons that God reshapes us, strengthens us and prepares us for what lies ahead. I am grateful for your faithfulness, flexibility, and commitment whilst these changes have taken place.

Looking Ahead!

As we look forward to 2026, there is much to be excited about. We have a full calendar ahead with many great breakfasts and dinners planned. Let’s take the opportunity to reach men, share testimonies and invite others to encounter Jesus. In addition, we are preparing for three conferences, where we will come together to seek God, listen for His voice, and ask Him clearly what He wants us to do next. These gatherings will also be an opportunity for accountability and to encourage one another and to put into action the commitments we make before God. Our desire is not just to hear His word, but to live it out in obedience and faith.

As we enter this festive season, I want to wish every member and your families a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Let us take time to remember why Jesus came — to bring hope, salvation, and new life to all! Let’s keep Jesus Christ firmly at the centre of all we celebrate. He is, and always must be, the focus of this season.

I look forward with great anticipation to all that God will do among us in the year ahead.
