Chippenham Breakfast – Lives Touched & Faith Strengthened

Thank you to everyone who prayed for the Chippenham Men’s Breakfast on 14th March. It was a truly impactful morning, marked by fellowship, testimony, and a strong sense of the Lord at work amongst the attendees.

We were encouraged to see 25 men gathered, enjoying meaningful fellowship. Our guest speaker, Joshua Rose, shared an inspiring and deeply personal testimony. Despite a difficult start in life, Josh has turned his challenges into a powerful witness. Now a man of prayer who hears from the Lord and serves faithfully in his local church, he delivered his story in an engaging and authentic way that resonated with many.

A Moving time of Ministry

At the start of the meeting, five words of knowledge were shared. Received through Anna and Richard, who have faithfully brought such words before. These words opened the way for a significant time of ministry, where each was responded to and prayed into.

During ministry time, we saw God move in remarkable ways:

  • A word about painful knees led to two men coming forward. Both reported immediate relief after prayer. One walking freely again, the other saying the pain completely disappeared following the laying on of hands.

  • Another word addressed deep-rooted loneliness from childhood. Two men responded, both choosing to forgive their parents during prayer. One was visibly moved to tears, finding release from a long-held burden, while the other spoke of a newfound peace and a strong sense of the Lord’s presence.

  • A man came forward in response to a word about feeling overwhelmed at home. Sharing the strain of caring for his elderly brother and blind sister. After prayer, he felt renewed and filled with joy. Strengthened by the Holy Spirit to continue his caring role.

  • A particularly intense time of prayer followed a word about someone feeling betrayed or attacked. A young Christian, only 18 months into his faith, responded. Those praying discerned spiritual opposition, and after a period of deep and focused prayer. He experienced peace, freedom, and a renewed determination to walk closely with the Lord.

Throughout the morning, it was evident that the Holy Spirit was present and actively working in many lives. It was both humbling and encouraging to witness such openness, healing, and transformation.

We also saw fruit for the future, with one attendee recommending a potential speaker who has already expressed willingness to share.

We give God all the glory for what He is doing in and through these gatherings.
