Warrington FGB Dinner Meeting with after-dinner speaker Ged McCormick

Ged McCormick was born 1960 into a a working class Catholic family in Kirkdale Liverpool. Middle child with a brother 13 months older and a sister 13 months younger than him. He went to church as a form of duty.
He grew up a football fan with countless trips to Anfield. He went to watch Liverpool at Hillsborough: the disaster had a profound impact upon him. He later managed to survive further tragedies in his life.
Ged says: from my early twenties, I began my journey into girlfriends and relationships: this lasted several decades. I went to university at 46 after a series of 3 tragedies, to study TV and film production and the media. This eventually led me to realise God existed, plus he has a plan for me, he has blessed me with talents to use for his kingdom, AND I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR MY SALVATION.
You can watch a 15 minute version of Ged’s real life story here .
