Cambourne Dinner with Peter Ashburner

24 August @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
£20

From Antiques to Answered Prayers

Peter Ashburner built a distinguished career, as a fine art chartered surveyor and auctioneer. Over the years, his expertise in antiques and collectables led him to not only be well know in the industry, but also a national recognition. With appearances on popular TV programmes such as Flog It!, Dickinson’s Real Deal, and Cash in the Attic. His professional life was filled with fast‑paced auctions, historic treasures, and the excitement of live television. Although he was successful, Peter carried questions and struggles that his career alone couldn’t answer. Eventually, through personal hardship and loss, he experienced a profound encounter with God’s presence, finally a turning point that reshaped everything.

Life Transforming Faith

From that moment onward, Peter began to discover a faith that transformed his life. His journey is one marked by loss, miracles, and a faith that refused to break. After the heartbreaking passing of his wife and a sudden decline in his own health, Peter found himself facing a season of darkness. Nevertheless, even in the midst of grief and uncertainty, he began to experience moments of God’s presence that brought comfort. As well as strength, and a quiet reassurance that he was not walking alone. During navigating hospital rooms, loneliness, and the weight of rebuilding life from the ground up, he witnessed remarkable answers to prayer. Moments that reminded him that God still moves in the lives of ordinary people.

From healing and provision to the gentle ways God restored hope day by day, Peter’s story shows how faith can grow strongest in the places where everything else feels fragile. His testimony is ultimately about discovering a God who meets us in our lowest places. A God who lifts us into new beginnings.

Today, Peter shares his story with a heart full of compassion and gratitude. He speaks openly about the pain he endured, the miracles that carried him forward, and the unshakeable hope that now defines his life. Through his testimony, he encourages every listener to believe that no matter how heavy the season, God is still working. Peter’s journey stands as a powerful reminder that faith can rise again, even from the ashes.
