Originally from Northern Ireland, Kelvin had a successful career in Accountancy. At 23 he was paralysed in a car accident, his story of God’s ever-present help through life’s journey is truly moving and inspirational.
Later, Kelvin became an Anglican minister and Healthcare Chaplain. He was ordained in 1999, and licensed as NHS Hospital Chaplain in 2006.
Fifteen years ago Kelvin relocated, with his wife Jennie and three daughters (Chloé, Katie and Ellie) to the Isle of Wight. Where he was appointed as Senior Chaplain at St Mary’s Hospital and Mountbatten Hospice. He retired from whole-time chaplaincy in 2018.
